The William Dennis Fund

Research for Children with Epilepsy

The William Dennis Fund

About

To say William Dennis was just getting started in life when he died is an understatement. Will was someone you could always count on, who always did and said the right thing.

William Dennis Memorial Golf Tournament

The true beneficiaries of the William Dennis Memorial Golf Tournament are Maritime children suffering with epilepsy and the adults they will become.

Research

Due to the confusion surrounding epilepsy, many people are reluctant to seek treatment. Yet more than 300,00 Canadians - about one in every 200 - have epilepsy.

Overview

The William Dennis Fund contributes to research for children with epilepsy, and supports the William Dennis Research Chair in Pediatric Epilepsy within the Department of Pediatrics at the IWK Health Centre and Dalhousie University.

A legacy to the existing foundation of excellence in Maritime pediactric neurology, the William Dennis Fund is also a legacy to the generosity of the Dennis family and benefactors. With the additional financial support of community leaders, the William Dennis Fund will have a lasting and positive impact.

The beneficiaries of your contribution are Maritime children and the adults they will become. With each passing generation, the benefits of the William Dennis Fund will support healthier children, better communities and brighter futures.
